- Nightmare!!!!
- How to connect an Amiga to a PC running win95 using ENVOY
- on the AMIGA and of course tcp/ip on the PC
- I have the following set up but neither see each other at all.
-
- AMIGA
- IP=137.137.2.2
- subnet mask=255.255.0.0
- IP type=2048
- ARP type=2054
- Unit=0
- No gateway enabled and no realm server
- Amiga is setup for a simple network which
- is what I have....1 AMIGA 1 PC using Ariadne ethernet card on Amiga
- and 3COM Etherlink III on PC
-
- PC
- IP=137.137.2.1
- subnet mask=255.255.0.0
- IP type= unknown for win95 tcp/ip assumed 2048 tcp/ip
- ARP type=unknown for win95 tcp/ip asumed 2054 tcp/ip arp
- Unit=0
- No gateway
- DNS servers enabled for my service provider IP and of
- course the PC's IP of 137.137.2.1 hell even tried adding in
- 137.137.2.2 for the amiga's IP to use a DNS there.
-
- Still no good...packet traffic is moving and connection
- LEDS show correct 10BASET connection
-
- Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? ANYONE
- laterzzz
